If you have installed MerchUndo, sign in to Shopify, open our Shopify App Store listing, and choose Get support in the Support section. Shopify opens a message form and shows the email address where replies will be sent. You can also find MerchUndo under Settings → Apps in your Shopify admin.

Include the task name or task ID, what you expected, and the error message. For privacy or data requests, describe which store and records your request concerns. Do not send passwords, access tokens, private keys, customer data, or an unredacted spreadsheet. Remove unrelated information from screenshots and audit records.

Start with a small edit

  1. Choose Bulk price changes, Organize products, or Spreadsheet updates.
  2. Select the products or variants and review the affected fields.
  3. Preview the old and proposed values. Creating a preview does not change Shopify data.
  4. Run the task. MerchUndo reads the saved values back to verify the result.
  5. Open Review and undo to check results or restore the recorded original values.

Spreadsheet updates

You can download a CSV template for selected product or variant fields, edit it, and import it again. CSV and XLSX imports support ID, SKU, or handle matching. Duplicate, missing, or ambiguous matches must be corrected before previewing. Download the row error report to find affected rows.

Link imports read an HTTPS file or a publicly exportable Google Sheet. They do not connect to your private Google account. A scheduled task replays saved changes; it does not download the latest spreadsheet each time.

Verification and undo

An executed change is not necessarily verified. Open the task to check field results, errors, and observed values. If verification fails, inspect the current value before retrying. Do not create a duplicate task just because a task is still running.

Undo checks the current value before restoring the recorded original value. If another person or app has changed a field, MerchUndo reports a conflict instead of overwriting that later change. Review the original, expected, and observed values in the task. Audit observations describe the last recorded read, not a continuous live view.

Export the task audit when you need a record of the changes. An audit export is not a full-store backup, and undo depends on the original resource and recorded history still being available.

Free features

Core product editing, spreadsheet updates, preview, verification, retry, and safe undo are currently free. Technical selection and task limits still apply; review the counts before running a task.
